Vac is not measured in PSI. do you have a gauge?
Is your UTEC MAP Sensor coming from the same source as the boost gauge?

yes it is coming from the same source as boost gauge.

My utec is reading vacuum in PSI so that's what i'm talkin about.

I got a defi gauge and it's reading -0.65 kPA @ idle.

Utec values show standard in/HG for vac and PSI under boost.

that pic and a buck will get you a l$1 ottery ticket. I have compared the map values to my boost/vac gauge and they are dead on.

Just in case you want the formula

1 inHg = 0.49115415184865 psi
1 psi = 2.036020659168 inHg

Two things,

I think I fixed my problem with the UTEC kicking in too early. I didn't have the MAP threshold value set right in the Open Loop Fueling options. I had it set to scale from 2-20psi in the other screen (I forget which one) but I had the open loop fueling value set to 0.

Also, it appears that the MAP sensor does in fact read vacuum in PSI, not in In/Hg. I notcied my vacuum displayed on the UTEC was roughly half of what my guage showed (~-9 on UTEC vs -20 on guage). I know this doesn't matter, but it was mentioned at one point. Next, I need to use the spreadsheet and calibrate my MAP to the numbers on my card.

Just like I thought....99.9% of the time when there is a UTEC problem or bug, it is user error..

i'm sure that it's less than %99.9 when it comes to Z-UTEC.

Thats weird. Mine seemed to be dead on with what my gauge was reading. I'll have to re-check that now.
