Default Parking Brake and Battery Light (Very Dim)

Hey guys! Weird issue... under about 6lbs of boost the car doesnt have these lights on at all... then over that boost the car will dimly put on the parking brake and battery light... very lightly and almost flickering... Anyone seen this before? I read somewhere on google that on a maxima it meant the alternator was going or something...

Anyone know much about this?

I have had the brake light and battery light flash since my car was basically stock, just with a nismo exhaust installed. I have had my car in Nov 2002. I now have a UR pulley and it happened last night twice when slowing to a stop light (it wasn't hard braking). Afterwards I was able to recreate this one time by hard braking.

All of my mods are N/A so I don't think my issues are power related (I wish they were )...

With the Nissan Murano a brake and battery light meant that your alternator was dying and you should take your vehicle to the shop asap. Maybe we both have bad alternators that are very slowly dying...

It happened again this morning when I was driving to work. I was approaching a stoplight, just slowing to a stop and it lit up. It was early but I think I noticed that my tach dropped all the way to the bottom, then once the light went off the tach went back up to around 1,000 rpm. I glanced at my Volt meter but it didn't look like it moved any...

Do you have different pulleys on your car?

I have an appointment with my Nissan on Monday, I have different pulleys so I wonder if they're going to attribute it to that (if it's the alternator). I told them that it happened since I first had the car (which is true) but I doubt they will buy it.

I took my car to Autozone and they checked the alternator and they told me it came back with a Bad Diode Pattern.

I just took the car to Nissan today and they said that it was just the negative battery cable, they said that the battery cable was just barely hanging on. When I had it at Autozone it didn't look to me like it was loose at all. I'll see if this fixes it.

I haven't driven it much this week it's been flooding here. I'll try and take it out some more this week and see if it comes back. Did you check your negative terminal connection?
