Default Supercharger and turbo?

Ok I just wanted to see if I have it straight about superchargers, and turbo's. The superchargers power goes through out the whole rpm's? And the turbo starts to kick in at later rpm's, like 4000?

I can't find anything to to help me out with this question, so if someone could explain this to me so I have it straight.

I seen a post one time where this one guy copied and pasted from wikipedia, but here it is. I spent about 10 minutes trying to find it before i said screw it and went straight to the source.

I've put my time in enough answering this question. I've explained turbos and superchargers I don't even know how many times on this and other forums as well as lots of other people who have debated and explained the differences. Other people will come in and field the question anyway

Sentry is very correct. I typed in "supercharger turbo" and saw the same threads over and over asking the same exact question. If it wasn't so common, it would be good to refresh some new things out, but its like once a week you see it. Good luck on the search though. If you have questions about vortech superchargers, talk to booger or sentry. For TN systems talk to MIAPLAYA. They are the gurus i've seen on here.

Default Real advise on Turbo vs. Supercharger

1st, call Noah at AAM (Altered Atmosphere Motorsports) in Gaithersburg, MD, 301 330-8835 X15. Noah and AAM helped me, and several hundred others looking for answers to the same questions you have regarding turbo vs. supercharger and other related performance quesions.
2nd, they install most brands of each application, so they don't have an ax to grind.
3rd, they actually fabricate several products in-house, and not just custom exhaust systems, and the manufacturers of these high performance products look to companies like AAM to install and maintain their products and do it correctly.
I cannot recommend this company and Noah in particular any stronger. And NO I do not work for AAM. Just a good customer.
Good luck.
