Default No Throttle

So... the Z has no throttle control at all... The shop thought it was the UTEC cuz it happened before to it... with the same thing but now I got the AEM in there and its still doing it

Even when we just plug the stock ECU into the car it still wont see a throttle control at all... just turns on and nothing from the gas pedal!

Anyone heard of this before?

TF has been talking to Technosquare and they both believe it could be the stock ECU (Technosquared reflashed) itself...

Could it be the immobilizer? I was working with TS on a new ecu and we attempted a different year program minus the immobilizer, the engine started but no throttle control.

Do this put it into the on position, if the alarm light on the dash is lit than the immobilizer may be the cause. Hope it gets resolved.

Can you drive the car for a few minutes then it stalls and you get no throttle control? Or is the car just starting and then you can hit the gas all you want and you get little to no revs? I had the same thing happen to me after Turbonetics flashed my ECU for the turbo kit, I thought it was a flash gone wrong. Turns out it was a bad coincedence and my throttle body went bad! I have an 03' supposedly the inside gears are metal and seize over time. 04's and up have some hard plastic gears designed not to seize up, I bought a used TB for around $100 and all is well now. Also if you turn the key to the "ON" position, you can hear your TB opening, on mine the normal sound turned into a horrible sound. Good luck, keep us posted.

Edit-just noticed you have an 05' Id still look into it...

Yeah just a bad coincidence I dont blame TS's flash. Try www.car-parts.com for a 04' and up TB. You can always talk them down when you call. Keep us posted...

Screw your shop if they havent done anything for you yet to solve this-you rnot getting a CEL? Track down a TB and try it, worst comes to worst it doesnt work you can sell it, or send it out to get bored....
