Greddy turbo
Find me a greddy kit that has blown up stock block with a Fcon vpro......cant be found...This is a built Z greddy kit @ 20psi, we were gonna tune for more power but the fuel pump needs to be upgraded,,, i have been running a greddy kit for more than a year, of nothing but abuse...no problems so far..im actually boredw ith my car now and want to get a new GTR

all these peole are on the JWT kits nuts, but a turbo is a turbo...tuning is key

It never ceases to amaze me how much people can argue over something that hasn't got a right or wrong. No kit is better than the next, it all depends on what you are looking for in your driving style and performance characteristics. Like it has been stated before, no turbo kit is going to blow your engine purely because of the mechanics of it. Your engine will blow from a crappy tune. If you like a good kick in the nuts when your bosst kicks in then yes go for a single turbo. But if you don't want your car to do a 360 when accelerating hard out of a corner, and prefer the more driveable and smooth transition of a TT, then this is the one for you.

The point wasnt if aftermarket headers will produce more power over stockers below 550whp, but that they will flow more than the stock ones and therefore becomes usefull when the stock headers becomes the bottleneck!
I wasn't even refering to making power or not. I am talking about all the fitment issues with after market headers.......rubing, clanking sounds, etc.

I totally agree and that is what I was trying to say earlier in this thread. I just believe that the JWT is the best out there. And you are more than correct about the tune being the single most important factor in the build. Any kit will work, if you want to drive a road course track then you do not want one BIG turbo....I love taking my car to the track and driving it and THAT is why I LOVE the JWT kit. PLain and simple.
Now cant we all just get along???
What all is needed besides the Greddy kit w/intercooler and a clutch upgrade, gauges, just to get it running? Im gonna keep it at stock boost level until i get the engine built. I just want the kit on with a good tune til then...

Listen to Navygolf 13...His car makes me drool. If you want to run on stock internals safely, you will want to run no more than 9psi. But keep in mind you need to get the car installed and tuned right. Navygolf13 has good advice
Good luck with your decision going F1
We actually just finished building, a built motor Greddy TT in a G35, and my personal opinion is that it has a thing called LAG, but is great on the dyno at high rpms
