I got it on my G. As long as you got the map switch you are OK. You will not need to reflash the ECU.

No MAP switch required. I have the TN reflash and the UTEC without a MAP switch.

You do not need to flash it back to stock.

Hey Jet, but don't you need that in case you want diffrent maps say one for cruising and one for the strip. Meaning differant octanes.

^^ Yea.. but you don't need it for a reflash to Utec..

The Just hit "0" on the Utec if you're not tuned yet and run the Flash, when you get tuned, it should be on the tuned map anyways..

No need for stock reflashing as mentioned. I have this combo, if your current TN tune is decent that will become your "0" map on UTEC-meaning your TN ECU parameters are controlling things. Any other maps you create after will have a designated number and the UTEC will override the TN flash WOT...

Thats how the UTEC works! Map 0 runs off the ECU.

Do you think i will be able to run off the reflash during the break in period for my long block.? My car is 3.8L now and i got JWT Cams. Will it be able to run off the reflash like this? or should i put the Utec in now?

You'll be leaner WOT most likely but if you stay out of boost you should be fine.
