Sorry, I should have given a little more detail to the comparsion I was just trying to leave brands out of this to keep it from a huge brand war. I am thinking about building my motor and either going APS TT or TN ST. I like both kits, but I just wanted to see the differences of how the power and torque come on. I was also more interested in seeing if the singles power would fall off more up top then the twins or if both would hold about the same in the higher rpms.

 

There is no way to really compare the two. totally different setups and Engine managment. Timeing tables could differ between the two cars majorly

 

if you are going to build your motor.. then get the APS Extreme Kit when it comes out

 

+1 plus you have a gain control on most boost controllers that can REALLY affect spool.

Show me a single turbo car that's anywhere NEAR my 11.6 E.T. or 120mph traps with 430whp (my whp on my passes) or less.

 

I can show you a single turbo car with at least 30 LESS HP ten you running 11.9s at 116.

I though you said there are ST cars with the same or LESS hp running BETTER E.T.s and traps than TT cars. I didn't ask for an example that's nearly a half second slower with only 30 less horse to the wheels.

 

FYI 4mp on a trap is a huge gain when it comes to modding...The only real accurate way of comparing is identical set ups and vehicle weight..My car weighed in at 3720 last night with my 260lb *** in it..And trapped 124's..

 

weird, cause I thought if you have 2 cars, a ST and TT with both having equal whp, the ST would have ultimately more usable power under the curve for drag racing than a TT because of the stronger midrange.

depending on what TT kit it is, ithe TT might have more power below 2500 rpms, but who cares about that for drag racing?

 

Why would you think 2 turbos would not produce as much low and top end as a single?

Who drag races in the midrange of the powerband?? My car never drops below 5000rpms in a 1/4 mile run.

 

Id love to run around 430whp as my new low boost setup so I can see what kind of times a measly ST will pull compared to the big dogs. With that power in decent conditions I dont think anybody can tell me my car wouldnt be 119-120mph as well...
