I am REALLY thinking about dumping my HKS SC! I was happy with it untill I blew my motor and now that I am getting my car/new motor back from CP soon....well soon as we replace my OEM ECU! I was thinking about going ST or TT. Not looking to make 500+ (would be nice) but would like a little more power than I have now. As some of you know I have pushed this HKS unit to its max now with bolt on's ect. Before my build I could get 350whp with cams on my AT.
I am really leaning toward TN ST but will I want more HP later and will I say "should have gone TT"?

if you wanna go ST, then shoot for the Turbonetics. itll o ya good. TT...well im not gonna say casue thatll start another war.
The TN has put down some good power. Its good for about 450hp. If you dont mind the wait, look out for the 1.5 and 2 soon. But im still not sure when there coming.

I always felt like if i was going to keep my motor stock i would go with the HKS kit and if i had any intetions of building someday i would go turbo. well i went TT just got to get the thing install right away i will be saving for my built motor just in case anything goes wrong. Single turbo would be great for you cause you are not looking for more then 500 plus the cost is much cheaper. You have so much money wrapped up in to your Z that hey what the hell might a well go turbo.
oh one more thing no matter how much hp you get or how fast your car is someone is always going to beat ya so, with that in mine go for 450-550 and be happy that you have a nice strong car that 1000's of people would love to have and if you start to get used to the power of your ride take a trip to a nissan dealer ask to test drive a Z and then get back ino your car, I promise you will walk out of there get in your car and say thank god it feels like this.
Bottom line if you want crazy power and low end power go TT. Other wise if you want to spend alot of money and upgrade to a monster st and bigger intercooler and **** loads of boost all = top end/ highway King. The stock tt kits are all able to push 700rwhp with the right supporting mods. The stock ST kits can flow a MAX of close to 500rwhp maybe 490ish.
Nah.... Stay with the SC! I love my Vortech and am looking at ways to increase my output to make it the fastest SC'd "G" in the US
Looking into a twin SC set up (there is alot of room on the passanger side, just have to move the fluid resivors) and maybe even try a roots style added on top of that... thats a-lot of extra weight and parisitic loss but it could be possible to get a 10sec car on SC'n...

don't go that nuts. Upgrade to the Vortech JT-trim blower. It should mountinto your stock bracket. After that, you'll need to customize all else. That blower should be good for over 1000 hp.

P.S. Thanks for the link... (Can I stuff 2 of 'em in there?)
Toby, I know you.....the only problem with Twin Turbos...noone can see them....being you compete in shows your best bet is stay with what you have or go ST.
