Honestly when it comes to the track a stillen is alot of fun, since the powerband is like an NA car it makes for a great track car. I was only losing losing three to four car lengths on stock track prepped vipers in the straight aways. Then they lose me in the twisties, some serious drivers in some of those vipers. I recently dynoed the stillen stage 4 hit 330hp 321Tq which i am pretty happy with. I beat the hell out of the car on saturday ran the car for at least 45 mins straight at sebring and the car took everything I could throw at it even bounced the rev limiter a few times, the stage 4 really shows itself in the upper powerband. Stage 3 used to fall flat near redline where the stage 4 still pulls took some getting used to. I am trying to get some stock 18's with hoosiers, tweaking some suspension, I will get a video next month of the back straight away, i hit almost 150MPH and the car was screaming. It's funny the track was almost all vipers and they were all impressed with the stillen set up, it was like the reverse usually I am getting ragged on about stillen it was a nice change. One of the viper owners who has been racing for 20 years said this to me. Most people have it wrong, power upgrades are the last priority on a track car. Most people will never have enough skill to push a stock car on street tires to the cars full potential. He said you know how many times I have seen a track prepped miata lap a corvette. Makes alot of sense. I think I am changin my priorities.

Oh, come on! Everyone knows it's all about how much one can make on the dyno so he could be everyone's internet hero. That's why we see all these 500whp Z's with stock or near stock suspensions...

pretty cool man ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm gonna get out to sebring one of these days. I think my current power level is perfectly suited to my suspension....so as long as I learn how to drive the car properly, it could be nasty

Not worth it...
It seems that 95% people here go all goo-goo-ga-ga over the peak dyno numbers, but noone seems to brag about their skidpad performance or the stopping distance. So that mentality will not be changed easily.
This mentality serves the shop owners really well, as the FI install/engine building is basically their bread and butter b/c of massive labor charges on top of the $$ they make on parts they sell.
You don't need to look further then the FI shootout in the Speed magazine a few month back. There were cars with JWT TT, Greddy TT, Vortech and Stillen systems. Same guy was driving all of them. During the road course session he managed to beat the fastest one of them by over a second in his personal car. The only upgrades he had on it were Nismo suspension, Hoosier tyres, 3.9 final drive, sways, intake/exhaust, and clutch/flywheel. So...
