alex, glad you spoke to the guys at SP...I was gonna call them to let them know this kid is throwing their name around with 850 hp numbers.

if you talk to ted, he uses his dyno to tune cars. he's not in the market of creating high HP numbers. It's really the delta he's concerned about. it's people like us who always clamor for HP numbers and dyno sheets. Ted will be more than happy to give you a print-out, but real world, they prolly don't mean much.

and to be honest, if you are going to throw their name around, try not to come across as an a$$ on the forum

 

exactly...Marin and bigbri are even *only* at 700+rwhp...and maxed out the turbos... If he's going for the standard APS TT, I would LOVE to see the 850rwhp dyno. No matter how good Ted or anyone else is, no one can negate the law of physics.

It's real real hard to make 850hp with a "kit" mentality... I also don't think you can do it with 20k... Head work, and engine management is key... My shop that I'm affilated with; has hit the 1600-1700 whp mark on Methanol so it can be done...

Nitrouz, I agree with you man. I am thinking the Greddy kit (no Nitrous) is probably going to max the turbos around 650 -700. I figure the APS kit would top out around 700. After that you have to upgrade the turbos and possibly look into a Nitrous kit to assist in the initial spool to reduce lag.

Ahmad, good luck man and take care. There are a lot of guys that have been pushing/testing the limits.. If you make 850 you are on the bleeding edge man. Most have called it quits around the 750's.

I know dozens of people without degrees, from Bill Gates to the local chef at the pizza shop down the road. Both people consider themselves successful, and since success is objective, that's all that matters.

What your dad should have taught you, as my dad did, is that it's not money that makes you "something" (respected, successful, etc.), but happiness in what you do everyday. In my opinion, although you didn't ask for it, the posts you made in here make you appear shallow, and a "look-at-me" kind of person. Given your age, that's somewhat expected. Obviously buying bada*s cars and a bada*s Z set-up can not buy you friends. I don't even know you, and I really, really, dislike you already.
