Here's something to do in the meantime while you wait for the beast to be built! (seriously)

http://www.bondurant.com
http://www.skipbarber.com

So many different levels of driving classes between the two, great schools with great reputations. I plan to go to one of the race schools within the next year or so...

just my 2¢

To the thread starter, be careful out there bro. This is the only life you (and potentially someone else) has. 850 seems awfully dangerous. Bigbri, why are you selling?

This is funny. You are 18 years of age. You had a branch given to you by your "cuzn", and you are interrogating this guy about working hard? I don't know about anyone else looking to put their money somewhere, but I can’t see how anyone would justify doing business with your branch after speaking with you. With your slang and total neglect for the English language, I would certainly bring my money elsewhere. I’m sure that your two years of driving experience have totally prepared you for this kind of horsepower, Danica. Nostradamus predicts a post with you saying “it wasn’t my fault, that guard rail came out of nowhere” in your future. Happy Boosting!

you are making your assumptions way too early, and seem to be a little envious i would say?hmmm
and lady or whoever you are, I would never in my life deal with ppl like you. Why dont you step into my shoes for a day and see how long you can last? If you wouldnt mind leaving this thread there is no room for haters here.=)
O btw...last time i checked i was not attempting at all to accumulate any business here on my350z. So my representation of myself is going to be an actual 18 year old on the int is there a problem maam?

How many supra guys make over 1000+hp? What about twin turbo vipers, vettes, mustangs etc... We never hear them complaining about to much hp on the street. You guys act like you cant turn the boost down or something. Hell stock cars these days are making over 600hp.

let me just say first off .. i don't care about his age or his power level..

but i think everyone's point here is him driving a high horspower car without much experience..

so to your question.. how many supra guys 18 years old are making over 1000hp? not much... and alot of them that have vettes and vipers are dead or crippled..

personally i could care less.. rock out with your **** out... if you want to die early.. be my guest...

Whos to say that he has to drive around with 850hp?

I think an 18year old is more than capable to drive a 800rwhp car. Who are you to assume that a 18yo and a 25yo w/o any experience driving a 800hp will encounter different scenarios.

Arent there champ car drivers, formula one drivers etc... at this age.

You have a lot to learn kid. You're talking about boosting a 350Z and act like your life is so hard. I thought I had it good when I was 18, and I drove a stock Grand Prix GTP. You don't even know how good you have it, so stop acting all hard.

because more than likely... like most people 18 year olds get their license at 16 and have 2 years of experience.. and most 25 year olds get their license at 16 and have 7 years of experience..

of course we can count in the factors that an 18 year old with 2 years driving experience living in NYC is a better driver than a 25 year old driving for 7 years in west bumblefck indiana.

there are exceptions to every story.. not everyone was raised riding a motorcycle age 5 like nicky hayden and valentino rossi..

so what can we go by? the norms of society? and what do they say? they say that most 18 year olds have 2 years driving experience.. personally i started driving at 11 and when i went behind the wheel of a stock 350z it was a handful for me.. any little thing and the back end pitched out in a second.. thank god for VDC...

so until he shows his awards from driving school.. and his pictures of him racing go karts at 6 years old.. we are all going to assume he has 2 years driving experience.. and thus shouldn't be behind the wheel of a 300 rwhp car much less 800

That's a very altruistic perspective. Unfortunately, there are statistical reasons why males under 25 years of age have the highest insurance rates. You can argue what's possible, and I respect that there are exceptions to every rule. Thus far however, I see nothing which would indicate that this would be an exception.

I just think that 850hp in the hands of an 18 year-old has all the elements of impending disaster. My motivation is to not see the kid kill himself (or anyone else, for that matter).

Every youngster (including myself) thinks they are mature enough and have enough experience to handle these high hp machines, and even though I'm 21 now and been driving high output musclecars on tracks since I was 13 with family members and I still wouldn't put that kind of power into a street car, so I seriously hope this is a track car only. Its not about being able to handle the power, its being able to respect the power and all of us love to show off, and when you do it when you've not driven a car with that kind of potential very much thats when you kill someone.

all of there thoughts are based off of ASSUMPTIONS that we are just a bunch of punks that dont kno wat we are doin...regardless of what car your in, there is always a risk of something happening...i believe that wat abyss is saying is correct...respect the car and its power and ur fine...

i appreciate the concern...but i think that its common sense to kno when to unleash the beast and when not too...but regardless you never kno wat may happen ...i will try to be careful lol
