Default Final Vortec numbers....

Well let me start by saying it’s worth the wait!!!!!! Real quick I have a 2003 6mt, I got it back when it first came out in Feb. of 03. A lot of the work went to the exterior of the car, keeping the engine mod down to a minimum, (Injen cold air intake. Tanabe Y pipe and Apexi WS II catback). The reason for that was I just wanted to wait for 36,000 mi to come round first due to warranty concerns.

Recent up grades are:

Vortech Supercharger (Polished) with Intercooler
CJM Return fuel system
3.12 pulley
RC Engineering 440cc injectors
Walboro 255 fuel pump
Greddy E-Manage Ultimate w/ sensors

After all was mounted, tune and ready to hit the street final numbers are:

Max Power = 382.4
Max Torque = 321.2

I must say that I’m very content with my new numbers from my super charger(for now), although I’m waiting for the heat to break here in FL so we can re-dyno. The feeling that I get when I take off is hard to describe lets just say it puts a big smile on my face…

I would like to personally thank Tom Porter known on the site as (madboost) he’s responsible for the install and tuning of my car, and would highly recommend him for anything you want done to your Z here in the central Florida area.

Also big props to Matt (ZUL8R) of Orlando and Sharif of Forged Performance for all the help with parts and knowledge they provided…

I'd like to see what the car puts down with some test pipes and headers...

I got to see the car last saturday and it was wild, the supercharger finishes the overall package quite nicely. Well done Rich!

Like Matt said, awesome numbers! I couldn't believe the numbers when Tom told me at the shop. Post up a dyno sheet if you can.

I guess you're not selling it now. See you Saturday!

Rich, nice setup and nice numbers. I just had my Vortech tuned this past weekend, spent 1.5 hours on the dyno. I am running 8lbs with a DC truess dual exhaust and Crawford high flow cats.

My base number was 330.9 to the wheels. After some tuning and mapping, Shawn of Church got the numbers up to 390.9. The final run at 11.8 A/F was 400 to the wheels. A completley different car from the one I drove up there.

The sound is wonderful although it is quite loud with the high flow cats. I'm not sure how loud it would be with the stock cats.
