yeah i have looked into it, its going to be a bit more work than i thought, pretty much a whole four link setup will be all that will work. lots of cutting and welding and the whole rear axle will move up and down instead of ours travels with the car. so you are looking at a whole new problem. plus in order to find spots strong enough for the 4 link to attach to, well then you will have to almost tube frame the back end. dont worry, its still on my mind, actually was talking about it this morning....

BTW, if someone does make an in-tank pickup, that would be a great way top get around using a fuel cell.

man please please let me know what you find with this... its the only thing holding me back from building the car to make any real power... just dont trust our little diffs and axles. dont care much for indapendant rears but the cobras seem to be holding some significant power... and the cost of parts is so much cheaper!

Great - now you're onto bashing AAM? If you wanted big power, their stage 2 system is what you should have been researching.

Good luck - and i'm sure we'll see you at the import events making noise good luck in the pro class...

i can always run the quick 16 and make some noise....

i think that AAMs Lee Press On fuel system is cheesy, thats my opinion, it uses stock plastic clips, stock lines half way up then it clips onto the stock clip on the firewall and clamps a steel braided line up to the rails, dont know why they didnt just make a AN line go to the fuel pump.

im building a street drivable fast Z, thats it, i will run at some import events and have fun.

plus i dont like doing the same thing that everyone else does. i think outside the box.

bought my 12 gallon fuel cell today!!!! it will fit perfectly!!!

The AAM stage 2 system is like $2k. He'll be into this fuel syatem for like $700 with a new cell. This one will have a lot less things that go wrong with as well. Anyone that wants to go ahead and spend the $$$, be my guest

Phil, no one is bashin AAM , but their stage two kit will not support his goals. I believe their system is running an external pump bu tis still sucking fuel from the tank with the walbro. This could lead to the secondary pump sucking the swirl tank dry and running out of fuel..Not to mention the fuel cell is the cheaper alternative for him..No one is bashing.
