Fuel Cell Time!!!!!!!!!
hey julian, he is a road racer, believe me, he is worried about the weight distribution so thats why he wants to keep it in the same place as stock.
one thing i would recommend mike..... i would buy a bunch of the foam pieces that they use in fuel cells and put them down in the stock tank, this will keep the fuel from sloshing around and if you put a lot of them on the driver side of the tank, most of the fuel will stay on the passenger side where the fuel pump/bucket is....
i charge money for good advice!!!

these factory tanks are plastic, right? that would make it hard to add in a sump. Jeremy, are you talking about just adding a fitting in the bottom of the tank?
charles @ CJ-Motorsports is working on a new setup with dual intank pumps. that could be pretty sweet!

mike... yes i have "opened" my shop meaning i have stuff in stock but havent found the perfect location that i am looking for, i have lots of inventory now and have great people to work with that get me wonderful deals on stuff....
i have soooo much going on, maybe i can get the G ready to race then and take that up there. right now my mindset is on the Z. fuel cell, roll cage, lots of stuff!!
the stock tank is sheet metal andrew, it is saddle shaped and runs on both sides of the car, i will tell you how much it weighs possibly today
i am gutting the whole car out, inside and out, i am through playing around, its going to be fun!!!!
no i have a 12 gallon fuel cell that i am mounting in the rear of the hatch on the car. that Sport RWD class i wanted to run in, well, the weight of the car has to be 3700 pounds... ahahahah i would need three fat *****es to ride with me
probably dropping the car off next week for the roll bar to be welded in, plus the fuel cell cover (on top) can get welded in at the same time...
