You can throw this out the window if you have any other intake/exhaust mods except for the boost. You increase the volumetric effeciency to the intake or exhaust and you will have more air in and out. More air you push in and the cleaner (completely) and quicker you can get it out you make more power. There still has to be sufficient over lap in your cam duration so the exhaust exiting can creat a lower pressure and help add some "suck" to the down stroke.

Just like you need to intake to stay open a little longer on the compression stroke. Even though the piston has changed direction and is now compressing the chamber volume instead of expanding it; the air flowing into the chamber still has sufficient velocity to pack more in. This effect is where you get a big increas with aftermarket cams and FI.

Sow with intake, exhaust, and cams (noting that there is zero decrease in volumetric efficiency) at 14.5 psi you cam well over the doubled output of the NA motor. If you look Craig has the plenum spacer. So...

Default big difference

I just got off the phone with Todd from BuiltZmotors who has been a huge help, and he said that GT motorsports will be releasing their FI cam sometime with in the next month. That should be worth waiting for.
