Default Which Headgasket to use....

I am wondering which head gasket I should use now that there are a few options aviliable for the FI crowd.

I am looking to attain about 600hp + and want to make sure that I approach this task using the appropiate parts to begin with.

Are there any pros and cons to anyone of these headgaskets?

HKS, Cosworth, Cometic, etc.

Thanks Guys!

As far as I can tell, HKS has the best design. That's what I'd go with if I were doing it all over again

+1 for HKS. Search for an excellent review by phunk.

We have HKS gaskets in stock if you need them. It is a superior design, but I will not declare 100% victory until I test them on a high boost car. We've been using the Cosworth/Cometic on numerous engines...no issues yet, as well.

I'm planning on running the HKS gaskets myself, with the regular ARP studs. I think the HKS gaskets will make the bigger difference in sealing than cometic, without going to the overkill-size ARP's.

L-19 ARP head studs are the same size and are a better choice than the standard head studs, but twice the money.

what pistons are you running?

I ask because if you are going with 8.5, you could have cometic do your headgaskets in there thinnest size and gain some compression. Cometic does any gasket in a number of thickness and it only takes like 4 days.
