Hello everyone! I know that I don't post on here that often, but I never really have that much to say... But I am on this site at least 5-6 times a day!
I drove down to Forged Performance today from Indianapolis, which was supposed to be an 8 hr trip that turned in to a 12hr drive. There was a really bad acciedent on I24 near Chattanooga, TN that had traffic at a stand still for over 3.5 hrs... Not to mention it was hot as heck sitting on the side of the interstate in over 100 deg heat...
But anyway, I made it here and I am in the roach motel right now. Sharif and I went over the game plan for the next couple of days and what we would like to get out of the car before I leave. Then we made a base line dyno pull with what I currently have. Below is the list:
-Greddy TT w/ intercooler
-Emanage Blue w/ e01 boost control
-AAM fuel system w/ 440cc injectors
-Crawford intake
-APS 3in dual
-AAM 3in downpipes w/ dumps
-Innovate wideband
Now I tuned this with my own personal butt dyno and the e01 data logger. Before the flaming begins, I have quite a bit of experiance with tuning imports. The car has never seen a dyno before. I run 10psi on the street with 93 octane. We put down 426.8hp for a base line run with a 11.5 AFR. From what Sharif has been telling me that is not to shabby on his dyno for a eManage Blue car...
We are going to be installing a ATS triple disk clutch, 650cc injectors, and a UTEC tomorrow and use a real dyno to retune it and get some "better" power... Which I am sure Sharif can do a better job than I can (why else would I drive this far!!!)
Here is a pic of the dyno sheet and the car, sorry it was taken with my camera phone...

Sounds like you had a hell of a trip. Hope all turns out well. Post your dyno nubmers once your done. Are you planning on keeping the boost levels where they are at now or is that going up?

Stock Block!!!
I plan on keeping the boost levels the same, since it is the stock block and all... We will see what happens, I think I talked Sharif in to being a little more agressive with my car, since I know what I am doing (most of the time). I plan on building the motor, so i am more willing to push the limits of the stock block... I think that there is quite a bit more left in the tune, so we should see a lot better numbers and drivability out of it when we are done.
I will keep everyone posted on the progress...

To be completely honest with you I am completely convinced that all of our engines were not created equally when they leave the factory. Slight enough variations in tolerances and clearances seem to play a big role as to weather or not your engine will hold together when you start turning up the power. I think that any stock block should hold together between the 400-450 range with ALL and I do mean ALL of the supporting mods required. The guys (myself included) that are running 450-500+ seems to be hit and miss. You are riding the edge, IMHO, once you cross 450hp. At those levels a solid engine management platform and a near PERFECT TUNE to ensure the engine will stay together. That is why I drove 550 miles so Sharif could do his thing! I would rate myself as a "good" knowledgable tuner, but that is "not good enough" when you are trying to push the limits. According to Ricky Bobby you need to **** excellence... I prefer to leave it to the pros when I am in uncharted waters (and hopefully learn from them and do it myself the next time).
So to answer your question... I think a stock block eninge will hold just fine with miles on it with the proper supprting mods and a professional tune. If you just buy the twin turo kit and that is it, leave it the way it came out of the box and run 93 octane and you should be fine. As soon as you start toying with it you need to start doing all of the things that are discussed on the boards to make sure you don't end up spending your hard earned money on a build engine before you intended to do so.

I will try to get some better ones today at Forged Performance...
I did not get any sleep last night!!! All I could think about was all of these cool parts that are going on today... And the fact that she is cheating on me, by letting another man work on her, she was a virgin when I got her... Ok.... Anyways....
I just got the Nismo V2 front bumper a month ago... I love how it looks drinving down the road. Looks like it is coming to eat young women and children for lunch!
I will see if I can barrow a real camera today and post a pic or two.

Thanks for coming Joe. Joe has been a long time customer of mine for over a year now...and finally we get to meet. The car looks great, I can honestly say, this is the best road tuned emanage blue i have ever seen...and 10psi daily....I like that! Last time he tracked it, he trapped 119mph!
When I saw 427whp on our dyno Dyno Dynamics (without any additional correction), I was stunned to say the least.
I am sure Joe will keep you all posted on the progress.
The car is currently up on the lift, getting a carbon ATS triple disc clutch.

Fastest I have been able to go is 12.5 @ 119... I have been running the stock clutch, so I can't launch the car at all, and everytime I go to the local track it is test and tune night so they never prep it. I think with all of the new parts going on today and a set of drag radials it should be in the 11's no problem, the trap speeds are there... But then again, all of us have an 11 sec car, just with a lot of excuses as to why it can't get there! HAHAHA...
wow! That is insane you went all the way to GA.... If you need need more work done in the future and can't make the trek again, LMK...I'll hook you up with some great tuners in chicago and it will take only 3 hours to get here!
