^ except VRT doesn't have a dyno, ... it's Jim Wolf's dyno, or The Dyno Shop's, or Stillen's, .... those are just a few that they've dyno'd on,.... so i think you're not going to realize the dream...

Inflated numbers from a tuning shop... No... Never... LOL.

I just wish that everyone would agree to one dyno model and stick with it. Too much debate over what's accurate and what's not.

LMFAO Jeremy. No secret shops mess with "dynojet like" corrections. I agree though, seems like a hamster on a wheel would put down 300ft/lbs on wherever VRT dynos. Regardless, Im sure the tune is good and the car is fast, so good job on that...

I'd still like VRT to explain how they made 400wtq at only 2000 rpms on that G.

400ft/lbs comes on around 4000rpm on that dyno man? Dont know what your talking about...although I must admit this dyno seems to be much more reasonable than others Ive seen in the past.

This forum needs a 'Proven Power Bragging' section... it could be sponsored by VRT Sales... lol

Congrats...

^^^^ thats great, maybe we should all get VRT to do our cars, then 800 hp will be the norm for stock blocks, then us built guys can put down 1500!!!

VRT's dyno isn't their own, it's JWTs, which they don't inflate numbers. Give JWT a call and talk to them to see.

Gs Dyno Run...The Run is done in 5th Gear, that is just when the DynoPack Begins to Record.

COMICAL
It is funny How Many Can Hate, yet, Very few can stand behind Not Only their comments, but how they are criticizing our Numbers.

Look, we take pride in the cars and Don't Need to BS. Sports Compact, or DSport, or C-16, or Modified magazines obviously Don't Smell BS, so I don't understand how many of you can continually talk-crap without any basis to your comments...

We take the cars to the Tracks and Drift Courses. Check our schedules, we will meet any of you at the Road-Race Tracks...If you have a fast car, bring it out and let's all have some fun. No BS here, just Proud of our cars and want to continually build them to the best/safest level possible. We have been hated on since day one...Still kinda funny to believe some of you can still keep Slinging Crap without any Basis...

Bring Your Zs and Gs to the Racetracks...Back up your words...Our cars put down nice numbers, yet still can compete against the great EVOS, Vettes, Porsches, STis, Exotics...Can Yours? Show us with Picts and Video!

Don't Forget the Z and G Drift Event at Irwin-dale 8/27/06, if you haven't registered, please do ASAP.

Tim,

I will put this car on the Dynojet and pull 600+WHP No Doubt for another perspective - Not the first time and if she doesn't slip - we will be all good...

Also Take Notice - the car made 525 WHP on pump - 13 PSI

Like Them Apples - I like Carmel Apples with Pecans, just giving you some Heads-up when peeping a Gift Idea.

Scott B (VegasZ35TH) - Thanks for all your patience letting us Beta Test with your Z Rev-Up...It really helped!

If you want to end the controversy Mike, run your car on the Dyno Dynamics and have the Dyno shop plot your boost and horsepower.Air/fuel ratio would be nice too Then run it on the Dynojet so you have a chart that is considered the industry standard.Controversy ended or at least diminished greatly.I totally beleive the car is capable of that power at 18 psi of boost. No doubt. I think it is some of the other charts from that past that show 800 horsepower and 900 ft/lbs of torque that have caused people to question VRT.As far as slipping goes........I have seen 1400 hp cars run on the Dyno jet and 1300 hp cars run on the Dyno Dynamics with no slipping so I dont think that will be a problem. We have personally put our 1000+WHP Supra on both types of dynos in the past. If there is any slip we put people in the trunk to put more weight on the rear end.Problem solved

Heya VRT,

I really respect you guys not only for your HP/TQ numbers, but because you build track proven, high powered, daily drivers.

I think a lot of the people around these forums can better relate to 1320' ETs and traps, though. To me, that's the most precise "apples to apples" comparison you can make. Throw some DRs and a rear camber kit on one of your G/Zs and take it on a weekend trip to a dragway...

Just my $0.02... Congrats and good luck!!!

700 HP with cats, is all you say...Are we to assume this motor is built or stock? I would think even on a built motor, you would be hard pressed to see the HP numbers your claiming with stock heads, cams, cats and no 3" exhaust..I have no doubt in my mind the car is making high 400's to low 500's on a Dyno Jet..
Got to love them Dynapacks, my car last year made over 510 on Turbo XS's dynapack before their dyno shut down, the very same exact set off their Dyno and on to Altereds Dyno made only 448 whp to start with..This is a 60 whp difference or nearly a 15% difference from Dyna pack to Dyno Jet...
My only comment is that JWT'd Dnyo is either on crack, or their turbos are manufactured by magical dwarves and have super powers...
