and to everyone, thanks for all the compliments. Its been a long time about 6 weeks since ive had the car between the bodykit and the new intercooler stuff so i think i might go take it out for awhile

longer intake piping = more friction surface for the air going in. It doesn't just effect the lag but also the high rpms are effected where the air flow capacity of those hoses are maximized but i dont think this will be a problem for your car as the intakes have a sufficiently large diameters.
In most drag applications they leave the comp side of the turbos open or just put an open pipe (well it's more then that of course but i dont remember the name, the thing that looks like the intake runner of an individual intake manifold) in front of the compressor wheel.
