Are you happy with your Stillen? I was thinking about building up to stage 4 and then putting a little nitrous on it (after building the engine). I'm looking for something with a huge amount of torque and I'm only wanting 400-450 HP at the wheel.

From what I have read, the current iteration of the Stillen blower maxes out at 350- to 380 whp, and the people with those numbers have the full compliement of supporting bolt on modifications.

Yes I am happy. Will be even happier when I drive the darn thing. If you are wanting 400 whp then you should get the turbonectics. It is reliable at 7 or 8psi. Stillen wont get you 400 unless you strip the car down to 2000 lbs. You can also get the vortech. If you have a 6MT you have alot of options to get to 400 whp. Stillen is for conservative people who are not looking for extreme HP. good luck in your quest.

In essence, there is more power depending on other bolt ons.

With nitrous it will get me 400whp

I want something easy and fun with gobs of torque. I'll fill in the high end RPM with N2O. I was going to rebuild the engine and really make a monster, but after seeing the G35 that is going to be released, I think I'll save my monster for that one. That new coupe is going to be damned sexy!

I just thought about what I just wrote....maybe I'll be better served putting a UTEC and 125-150 shot on my car....and save up for that new coupe?

Can you elaborate? I thought the Stillen was pretty much the simplest to install? At least the Stage 1. That's not true?

With Stillen you have to change the hood and get it painted. with vortec you just install and drive.

i changed the auto 3.3 to a 6mt 3.5,but i wouldnt go any higher it just has to much low end torque and i think all you would gain is some longer rubber marks on the road.now on a vortech i think it would be great idea.ask sentry65 thats what he did.

The Procharger does not use the SS box. He is referring to the Procharger's lack of a timing control....

I was going to reply to it...but ! lol

Actually the ATI Procharger is a very good SC . It can produce more trq. than the Vortech . It spins much faster . The only thing the kit is missing is some type of good fuel and timing control . It comes with a fuel controler only .

I dont want to be the fastest, i just want to have a bit more power.

Just curious... does anyone know how much the Stillen Supercharger weighs? I can't have an extra 100lbs in the front end killing me in the corners...

Dude, not the turbonator, that can result in the car having so much power that it reverses the rotation of the earth, sending us back in time! Don't do it, man!
