Did they slevee the block sometimes the machine shops forget to drill the holes in the slevees....

Yeah, so mine ended up just being a bubble of air. I parked mine at about 5 degree angle (nose of the car up) and opened the coolant jug when cold. Turned the car on with the heater full blast and let it idle and just kept adding coolant. It took about about 30 - 40 minutes and several little additions of fluid, but finally got there...
