Default Any good turbo literature?

Currently I am still in school and can't afford to go FI. However, in a year or two I will be able to do so, but I'm not very mechanically inclined. Before I go FI, I want to be able to learn as much as I can. Is there any literature I can read up on that can help? Please don't flame and yes I've used the search button.

I've read the nice write-up of Eagleone's supercharger to TT thread on freshalloy and the above stickied threads, but anything in addition is helpful. Thanks.

Here is some info, ... I would suggest learning about EVERYthing automotive, ... which is what I think you are asking about....

one that everyone will/would say is worth a read, even though it's a bit old now:
Maximum Boost by Corky Bell
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=GTUR

Read through all of Garrett's website: http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html

EFI University: http://www.efi101.com Check out the info about the courses, and look at the link page too. Try to attend a class if you really want to learn about tuning.
Ben Strader wrote a book too: Building and Tuning High Performance EFI:
http://www.themotorbookstore.com/hig...injection.html

another website with a bunch of info: http://www.sdsefi.com/tech.html
Read through the whole site...

that should keep you busy for a while! I highly suggest trying to read through most of this stuff...even if you don't think it's directly related to what you want to know, ... it's all interconnected in certain ways and will give you a better understanding of everything involved...

Thanks everyone for your help. I was just talking to a friend of mine that works in the import tuning industry and he actually recommended that same book before I even started this thread. I was just curious if there was anything else. Really appreciate the help.

Street Turbocharging is a new book which is as good as Maximum Boost. It contains all of the same data, but it has some updated info, and more pics.

Chris

PS- It also has a chapter on water injection, which the other doesn't.
