The air fuel gauge really does nothing - it's just for show unless it's a wideband O2 gauge (which your description indicates it is not).

boost gauge tells what amount of boost or vacuum your car is seeing at any given moment.

blitz FATT is a turbo timer, keeps the car running after you shut off the ignition for a short time in order to prevent oil from overheating and coking in the bearing cartridge of the turbo. it also has a built in boost gauge which may or may not be hooked up (also a built in peak-hold feature which shows the highest boost you've achieved since resetting it).

Profec B Spec-II is a boost controller, you can use it to turn up and possibly down how much boost your turbo makes (depending upon how low it is currently set). I'd highly advise NOT messing with this until you've become much more familiar with the car (assuming the car is tuned already and is currently running a safe boost level)...

You've got some learning to do it sounds like, and I'd suggest maybe picking up the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. You might be in for a very expensive, very harrowing time with this new car if you don't do some serious learning with a quickness.

It would probaly be a good idea to find a solid tuner that you can trust so that you can take your car in periodically to make sure its running right.

I'm about to get some gauges as well, just A/F Wideband and Boost. I recently saw an Evo with gauges near the A pillar, but they were not in a pod. They were stuck near the A pillar vertically by suction cups. To me, this looked a lot cleaner than a pillar pod. Does anyone know who makes these gauges?
