Question Question - Vortech Takeoff Squeal

1) When I am taking off from a stop I have this wierd high pitched squeal that only lasts for a second or less. It happens between first depressing the clutch and when the clutch is fully engaged, when taking off normally. It also happens when I am in neutral coasting and I put it into 2nd gear, I have the squeak/squeal as the clutch engages. It slightly resembles a belt squeal on start up, but higher pitched and not as loud. Does anyone know if this is normal? Thanks.

By the way, as of right now I have no belt squeal on startup.

**Edit**
2) Forgot to add that my car sometimes shakes inside the cabin at idle. It's a subtle shake, that I can feel through my steering wheel. Not a lot, but enough that it is noticeable. When it was NA, the steering wheel would never vibrate. Btw, my idle is 650'ish. I know raising it would help, but I just wanted to know if other people noticed this. Thanks again.

The takeoff squeal is occuring because the belt is loose.. When you apply sudden Tq (engaging the clutch) if the belt is loose it will squeal..The shaking is likely a result of low idle rpm...Idle should be at least 750rpm.

Its possible to have intercool pipe rubbing on a pulley...crank pulley . If your serp belt is tight , check the AC belt.

Ok, will recheck my pipes to see if they are hitting anything. AC belt should be fine since it was just replaced and is pretty tight.

I got one more issue I forgot to address:
3) When putting the car in reverse, I am getting a wierd low noise and low vibration through the clutch. Is this normal?

Thanks jpc350z and booger.
