Knock count is 0. It should always be 0. Any knock is a bad thing.

It was never intended to be a 1/4 mile car. If any track, we'll take it to pocono (closest to us). We have a set of Yokohama R componds on a set of stock rims for that.

Incredibly streetable on 15 psi. On 18 psi, it's barely managable. On 24 psi, you need stickies or R compounds (1st and 2nd gears are useless on street tires).

Just do the 18g's. We were gonna make 20g's, but wanted to see the response of the 18 for ourselves first.

When we built the engine over two years ago, the only cams available were tomei's. They were all NA cams. We had a set of the Tomei 268's ready to go in and decided to keep the stock. Our reasoning was R&D. Only a handful of guys back then had built motors and were not sharing much info. We are the type of guys that like to know things for ourselves. Really, it was all an exercise in discovery. We got caught up in other cars and projects (customers always come first ) and our Z would sit. I guess there isn't a reason beyond that. We'll put some Scott Performance stage 1 or 2's in if we don't sell the car first.

11.5 afr's tapering down to 11.2-11.0 by redline. Rev is set to 7000, but good power production ends at about 6500. We stop at 6500, no point in killing the engine with revs. Torque is sick. Full torque at about 3800-4000 RPM, just under 700 ft/lb at 24 psi.

Look at the torque they made. That is well on par with the boost they where running. The hp may look lower relative to the psi only because they where on stock cams.
