Here is a couple of pics that I snapped with the good ole cell.
So far things are going well...going to try and pull the motor str8 out the front. That damn A/C condensor is in the way though. I dont want to drain the stuff. Any tricks to getting it more out the way?
I found the source of my oil leak. Front main seal is leaking pretty bad. Ill post a pic of that when I get them up loaded to my computer.
I'm pretty much doing the work by myself while my dad helps when he can. Definitely getting to know my car REALLY well which is GREAT!!!
Heres the fun:

I'll have more pix later on.

I pulled the engine out of my service writers (Im a tech for Nissan) car after his blew up after 2.5 hours with the Turbonetics kit on! I pulled it out the front just like you are but I sucked down the A/C. One thing I would do is pull the tranny with it because trying to line it back up with the tranny in the car is way more of a hassle then just pulling the tranny.
I just wrapped a chain under the intake and pulled it out like that. There really isnt anything to bolt a chain on to on the motor.
Oh and after we built the motor(forged 8.8:1 Wesco and Forged Eagle H beams) and had it tuned it put down 383HP/380TQ on a superflow(dynojet was something like 404/401). The car is an absolute blast to drive as it is at 8-9PSI. I just need to convince him to go with a standalone system so that he can get rid of the MAF and turn up the boost!

The lower intake plenum is held on to the manifold by 8' 10MM bolts that are torqued to around 40inlb's. These strip very easy because they go in cast aluminum tapped out holes. I helicoiled all those holes because to many times I have had problems with buttering the the threads.
PREFERRED METHOD- Wrap the chains around the exhaust manifolds and it comes out perfect with tranny..

I was putting down 485whp on a dynojet on the stock block, so i know all about fun...
Im going to put a chain in the gap between the timing covers and then one on each exhaust manifold.
If I ever get some time to finish what I started...sighs...
