Any Chance of there being a Novidem Supercharger Kit for sale?
Yes, I did search and found these two threads:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....hlight=novidem
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....hlight=novidem
but if you go to Novidem's website, it is all in German (I believe that is German) http://www.novidem.ch/
Has anyone heard if this kit will make it to the U.S.?
Does anyone have more information on it, besides the teaser of an article in the October 06 issue of Road and Track?

The reason I started this thread was because Nissan has been "Toying" with the idea of possibly putting this kit on future models of the Z. Will it come to fruition? Probably not...but if Nissan has already been working with Novidem, I was having very "optimistic" hopes that maybe, just maybe...did I mention "maybe" we could see an aftermarket kit.
This thread was more tongue n' cheek than anything. I apologize for getting the masses worked up. I was just hoping that some "intelligent" bantering would come out of this thread. Maybe even someone who has experience with Novidem would speak up and tell us more about their product...since I am curious and can not read German.
I understand that there is a multitude of Forced Induction kits already available...I just like having options. God Bless Capitalism!
Dreamworks...that was good.

I spoke with mr. Masella of Novidem today...
Tha price of the kit for the 280 hp engine is about €.10.000,00 and for the 300hp is about €.11.500,00..... and you can install the kit only in their stores...in Switzerland, Germany or, soon, in Great Britain....
With the kit installed you have 381 hp on your Z (287 or 300 hp engine is the same)....
They are TOO MUCH EXPENSIVE!!!!!
I'm going to buy a Vortech kit for my 35th anniversary!

Sorry for multiple posts but i found the last article in french (my language !) so i can make you a little translation .
BIg title:
Novidem give a 100hp bonus to the nissan 350z due to a radial supercharger. This system with "magnetic coupling^^ (a kind of supercharger clutch as i understood)" is well knows by our readers although in this case it can be activated by pressing a button.
Main text:
The effectiveness of novidem's supercharging system had convinced us during the testing of the modified vw golf r32. For the tuning process of the 350z the enginneers of Harvill have made further improvements.
Power on demand
Like the past year's golf, the kit consists in a radial supercharger, intercooler and ecu tuning of engine's computer. On the vw, the magnetic clutch wich enabled or disabled the supercharger was activated by the throttle pedal. On the 350z, novidem has changed the system. In this case, the supercharger is enabled by the driver , switching a button on the center console. Once pushed "ON", the engine allows 100hp more. Engine acts like drivers today behaviour
.For security reasons, enabling the supercharger is only possible under 4500rpm/min.This liberty let you chose the spirit of the engine according to the environment. In urban traffic you'd better chose the sweetness of the stock v6 engine (letting you using 280hp !) and not taking much fuel .Without the supercharger enabled you will save 1.2l/100km. Once you are out of the city switching the button let the 3.5l full breathe. Performance wise, it's like the bmw m3 csl. It pushes 0-100km (0-60mph) in 5.5 vs 5.4 for the bmw, improving stock time by 1.2 seconds.Cannonball at midrange .
The gap is astonishing in re-acceleration times since the supercharged roadster takes 11.8sec from 80km/h to 180km/h vs the m3 csl's 16.4 seconds and stock 350z's 17.2 seconds, a 1st grade performer!
The stock transmission handles very well this amount of power, but you will have to watch the clutch close during intense track sessions

The stocks brembo brake's power handle quite well although the 350z is quite heavy (1640kg). The full adjustable KW's suspension allows for intense driving upon the car's limit.
During our 1000km test drive, the average fuel consuption was 12.9l/100km as 1.3l more than the stock 350z. The overall ambiance is very good, the stock exhaust's sound(which is quite good) as been improved by the novidem's stainless steel exhaust. This one is managed by a bypass valve which allows a very good symphony ! The tuner ads a wastegate (made by pierburg) wich allows lower noise under the lower rpms. When it's open, the discret sound of the 6 cylinders turns into sportiveness to finish in "lion's roooaaarrr" at high rpms ! This installation stays street legal (note :very important in europe) for the exhaust and the supercharger kit which appears on the vehicle 's papers.
Good price :
Due to the fairly price of the 350z (51800chf =41400$
) the novidem's one stays well priced. The supercharger kit and the exhaust claims another 20000chf more (16000$) but it's include the very high priced switzerland's homologation.According to the power levels achieved , this proposition stay very good. Here is the full article, sorry in advance for the english mistake you will find for sure.
key factors :
380 hp
450 nm
can be enabled switching a button
16000$ including mounting, tuning and homologation
