Default How does TN's single turbo kit attach to aftermarket exhaust???

Okay, this may seem like a very stupid question, and it probably is, but I have been trying to find the answer on my own without actually calling up a vendor.

I am trying to make a decision on which exhaust system to purchase in the next week or so, but I can not figure out if TN's single turbo kit will work with a true dual exhaust or not. From the best I can tell, it will not.

Someone was kind enough to post directions in another thread (yes, I did do a search like a good boy), but the directions and pictures were not clear. Or maybe my eyes and brain were fried from reading through all the posts. But here is the link:

http://www.turboneticsinc.com/downlo...Nissan350Z.pdf

So how does the kit interface with aftermarket exhausts? Will true dual work or is a single required?

Thanks,
Joe

You will have to have it modified. That is what I did on mine, but I had a custom dua exhaust on my sedan. For me it was easy....I replaced the center sedction with a single 3" IN / dual 2.5" OUT Magnaflow muffler.

The best option is a single. You can also buy a single that splits into a dual if you don't like the emty space left in the bumper cover left by the single canister.

I have the Topspeed 3" single that splits into two canisters. The flow is amazing. One b@d@ss exhaust. Only $349 too. You can't go wrong with it.

the answer is: you cant use an aftermarket exhaust right out of the box. you can either have it customized (read: cut, weld, etc..) or have one fabricated. hope this helps

Not exactly true. You can't use an aftermarket TRUE DUAL out of the box. Any other aftermarket exhaust will bolt right up. Bolt right up exhausts include:
JIC
Tanabe
Apexi
Topspeed
RSR
Nismo
Megan
Fujitsobo
Amuse
Trial
Magnaflow
etc
etc
