Default Forged Performance: The newest HKS Pro Dealer!

Hi everyone,

Just want to let you know, that Forged Performance is now an HKS Authorized Pro-Dealer, which means we now sell, tune and install the full line of HKS and HKS Pro products, including the HKS FCON V Pro

We are pleased that HKS approved us as Pro-Dealers, as they are extremely selective with the shops that tune and sell FCON product. The screening process is rigorous, and at times...we felt like we were applying for a governor's pardon!

As most of you know, the HKS FCON V Pro is the permier engine management system for the VQ35, and numerous other platforms. For high boost cars, the precision, resolution, and control over the engine is second to none. If anyone has any questions, dont hesitate.

As the only HKS Pro Dealer in the South East, we are looking forward to this opportunity. Should be exciting! I'll be switching to an FCON on my personal car for testing purposes.

Lets see the FCON has always been better, but now he can actually tune it himself, why would he have purchased it before if he cant tune it himself? the UTEC was great but now that hes a pro dealer why not step up to a standalone that he can tune and gives much more control.

Utec is 10x10 resolution and gets the job done.

FCON is 32x32 and ALOT more features and total control over the engine, most tuners dont use all the features or all the resolution that unit offers.

Good luck to you sharif and congrats on becoming a VPRO dealer!

Im done.

Sharif has always said in other threads that if you are not looking for high boost and you want the best cost effective solution then the UTEC is the best application for the Z.. however if you have the money and you are runing high boost.. the HKS is the best

Absolutley correct. If you've followed our posts, we always welcome new technology. I have always maintained that the UTEC is the best sub $1000 ECU out there. Full control over fuel and timing, and it works well for low and moderate boost. Even at high boost, we can get very good results. I have also posted that its one limitation is the lack of resolution...particularly for high boost tip in. This results in a great WOT tune, but the part throttle mid range areas could stand for better resolution, in order to improve user drivability.

My only complaint with the FCON, is that we couldnt tune them...now we can.

Define "Low" boost vs. "High" boost.

I consider low boost in the 6-12psi range, and high boost in the 12psi+ range. The FCON isnt for everyone, but for the high boost crowd, it is the best solution.
