Default Need help about engine build up..

im starting to build up my engine to gain more power, i have the apstt at 8psi.. so my question is with those extras, how much power can i put down.

List:

Cosworth piston
Cosworth Rods H-beam
Ring set
Main stud kit
rod bearing set
main bearing set
head stud kit
hks f-con v-pro
engine gasket kit
aps extreme fuel system

if thats not a good set up, id appreciate it if some one could write me down a list of the things i need to reach a power of 550rwhp(thats my goal)

Not tring to go there but. Have you already purchased the parts needed for the rebuild? If not Call Sharif @ (FORGED) if you are planning a rebuild. Just my take on the sitituation he is the best in the South East by far. Good luck.

+1 just take it to a 350z shop and let them guide you and set it all up.

Looks like your exhaust is holding you back up top.. =) still 388 hp is alot more than i got out of my. do you think its the UTEC/tuning that made the biggest diff or is it the Strup Header/Intake plenum ?

I would say it is a combination of parts and a great tuner. @ the dyno day at Forged there were a coulpe of turbonetics Z's we all dynoed close to the same HP and tq. Less than 10hp differance from my stk exhaust to the aftermarket single exhaust some of them were running.

hm.. but the real question is what kind of tq were they making? if they were making close then i can see where u are coming from.. if you are making 420 tq at 4000 rpm range then it should hold up and give you more hp at a higher rpm.
