No the exhaust note is going to change with the turbo. Mine got a little quieter under no and mild boost. Under full boost it will scream though.

If I were you I would go with a better flowing exhaust than the Nismo. That's not the best choice for the Turbonetics kit.

... well my Fujitsubo is basically the same thing and seems to make good power. For the stage 1 kit it should work just fine.

People on this board really go overboard with exhausts. I know how it works, but for this power level you don't need a straight 3" exhaust by any means...

Chimmike is presently running the Nismo exhaust and the sound doesn't really change before/after the turbo.

+1 with Tuarran, Nismo is more than enough for a stock block TN set-up...

I like the nismo for the regular TN kit. I'll probably be upgrading to something either a) bigger or b) a little more free-flowing when my motor build is done, but other than that I'm good right now

Sorry just saw this post, I have the NISMO exhaust with the TN kit. It is definitely much more quiet with the turbo kit. Deeper tone also.

It won't be long after you buy your NISMO exhaust that you will want more power and sell the NISMO exhaust in exchange for what you should have bought in the first place.

why? I ran 12.5 with the nismo on TN kit and street tires. Easily capable of 11s on slicks. That's pretty good for Nismo exhaust (which btw is 3" diameter)

I didn't say it was a bad choice. I said it wasn't the best. The more free flowing the better.
