Default Sharif@Forged Vortech Tuning Results!

We drove from St Louis to Marietta, GA for a Saturday tuning session. Sharif helped us find the missing HP from the Vortech base tune. We netted a 38rwhp peak increase and a nice linear curve. A/F no longer dives to 10.0 either

Based on my last dynojet pulls, Sharif's dyno read 25-30 hp less for our vehicle. So if you are looking for SAE Dynojet numbers, add 25-30 and that is ballpark..

Thanks again Sharif, Valerie, and everone else we met up there!

-Mark

Specs - 2004 5AT, Vortech kit with stock pulley, and plenum spacer. That is it - completely stock exhaust.

Congrats...have fun with the car .

Looks like the DD dyno and the Mustang dyno are very close . I had very simular numbers with my AT5 after tuning the stock Vortech set up

Nice, how does the car sound with stock exhaust, could you get a few more hp by upgrading it?

I think the exhaust sounds a little louder than stock after adding the supercharger. This is my wife's DD and ranks only slightly lower than me on her "love" scale, so her ideas for the car win out. She wants to keep a quiet exhaust at the expense of some performance and I'm fine with that.

This is in stark contrast to my 2003 Lightning with Long tube headers and Bassani cat-back. I have on several occasions woke the dead..

I just put test pipes and and HKS exhaust on my Vortech this weekend.

Noticeable increase in power (and noise ) and knocked 0.08 off my 0-60 on my first and only attempt (I'm supposed to be nursing my clutch). 0-60 measured using a GTech accelerometer for what that's worth.
