Default APS ST only making 351whp and 320tq

Is there something wrong with my install or tune? Cuz that shouldnt be the case because Sam from GT Motorsport tuned my car. I dunno why i am getting such low numbers. i called Gt today, but was not able to get in touch with Sam. Is there a way i can tune my car up?

How much boost? He's a good tuner, I wouldnt mess with that tune Im sure its very safe. A graph with A/F would be nice...

Ed at Brainstorm also did a very conservative tune on my car i believe. I dynoed at 336whp but that number is on DTS. People have told me DTS reads about 10% lower than most other dynos. If that was the case, i would be around 370whp. But GTmotorsports uses dyno jet right? i forgot. With your aps st and aps exhaust and plenum spacer, i think that's a REALLY REALLY conservative tune. I myself am thinking going to Sam at GTmotorsports to retune it in the future. I wanted to be slightly over 400whp.

dynos mean nothing. take it to a track and the trap will tell you far more.

On paper, those look like low numbers for the mods you have if you're running around 7-8 psi.

Safe or not safe, with that free flowing exhaust, you should be up there in HP and TQ. A boost curve would be nice as well as an A/F one.

That sounds about average to me. Don't think you're going to pull 440whp out of the ST kit or anything...

I didn't say you could not. I meant you should not expect to. The numbers he is putting down sounds about right for the setup.

If you're going to tell me that its easy, then I'll have to disagree. 440+whp with cams and a c16 race tune (on a dynapack, no less), is hardly what one should expect from one of these kits.

Rather a dynopack than a dynojet homie. my numbers are repeatable and consistent. on 93 octane it still pushes 420+. and whats so hard about adding cams. we arent talking about reverse engineering an engine. my numbers might be inflated to you but i trapped 115mph in a full weight g35 last wednesday(without race gas).

Cams isnt a cost effective mod that most ST guys do unless the motor is out and getting built. You cant act like its an easy/typical mod. BTW-115mph trap even in a G doesnt impress anybody with the power your pushing-Im curious to what you ran in that set-up at that trap, low 12's Id hope.

Ask Sam if he experienced the boost drop that everyone else has been dealing with. If so, those numbers are about right.

you guys and power..its NOT ALL ABOUT POWER, ITS YOUR AIR/FUEL, you probaly have a safe tune with perfect AF, those numbers sound just right for that kit, want more power tun up theboost, but risk a explosion, you makin about 100rwhp over stock, thats good. my greddy kits baseline with a e-garbage was 336rwhp...

350 to the wheels is what to the flywheel? 400? and the flywheel hp is the one they publish on car commercials and such right?
