I am sorry you feel my shop is taking too long to finish my car.
I countered with any number of existing solutions that doesnt involve upgrading to rediculous extents just to fullfill a nutswinging habit. None of which are "vaporware". I suggested AGAINST a twin pump system, which leaves him with options currently available. Get your thoughts organized, cause they are a little random right now.

You are not informed at all, and thats what remains of this debate. You state no factual information, and you twist the truth desperately grasping for leverage. Its pathetic.

The worst part is that you are so close minded in your opinions, and you think that your setup is so superior - yet you wouldnt even considerer putting it head to head with what you so strongly feel is no good. Thats pretty weak. I mean, what exactly is the point of all your ranting, raving, twisting the truth, exagerating, nutswinging, etc... if when its time for action, you run and hide?

As for how long your shop is taking with your car, I dont care, and I never did. Thats your problem, leave me out of it.

Your assertion that the single pump system is somehow inferior enough that it makes you uncomfortable running it simply doesn't correspond to reality. If GRD told you that that's the case, than they are simply wrong. Wouldn't be the first time a shop, reputable as one MAY be, suggests soemthing that is not based on merit but by how easy it'd be for them to do it, the amount of time they would save in not thinking about a given problem but simply replacing it with something else, or (most importantly) the financial gain they would have from doign so. You need to be more objective and think about the problem first. I have not seen ANYONE max out a single pump walbro system, provided the rest of the system was designed correctly. And if oyu do the math behind it, it will substantiate this claim. And please do not give me the argument of "don't want to operate at pump's full capacity" as i have seen given several times, as this is the reasoning that's easily deduced from what you were saying (that you are not comfortable running it). The pump operates at it's set capacity, period, just more of it's output is directed at to the injectors and not back into the tank via the return system.

I am not saying GRD told me that a single pump system like CJM wouldn't have been enough for my setup. Yes, you can run the car to beyond what I am planning on running with lesser than the dual pumps. It isn't about the dual vs single pumps.

Basically I am looking at the two kits as equals. with CJM, you get roughly the lines and rails. You still need to dish out for injectors and the fuel pump. Now figure you get the injectors and two pumps with a drop in assembly for a few more dollars. Keep in mind, this was developed by the same company I put my trust in when I decided on a TT setup.

You are all free to buy whatever you like for your car. Know a little, know a lot, at least I don't suggest a part/kit I wouldn't run on my own car. I have put my money where my mouth is and bought all the parts I feel are best.

If phunk is still upset he wasn't accepted as an APS dealer back in the day, that is something he needs to work out on his own

I was never declined as an APS dealer. George came to my shop with Tuan, inviting me to be a dealer. I declined giving them the $10's of thousands of dollars that this no name company wanted as a buy in. So thats where our relationship ended.

Once again, you need to get your facts straight.

Your might be refering to when Peter was mad at me and tried to say that they declined our shop because it wasnt equipt well enough. But thats obviously someones idea of a bad joke, as my shop was 3 times larger then your shop and was far more equipt, and had a reputation for some of the highest quality fabricated FI systems. haha. Seriously, Zivman, get a clue. Your being played in someone elses game.

.
that is complete BS. I am running a basic shortblock with lowered compression and tuning to a number I feel is streetable. You on the other hand have a complete long block with a bit higher compression than me, larger head studs, cams w/valves and springs and headwork. I hope you have a faster Z than I do, you have twice the work I do into the motor. You want to challenge me, well, fine, I have a car I can bring down to run your Z if you want to play. Scared of a 79 toyota corrolla?

When it comes down to it, you are being the fool. In the end, you are a manufacturer repping a product and defending it against some random joe-blow on the internet that has "I am nothing but a pathetic farmer" listed in his sig.

Bad mouth me all you want, I have no stake in this at all. My car will be done this week, I will head down, pick it up and be on my marry way. You will sit there and be pissed off that some farmer from MN was talking smack on an internet forum.

Have a good one

that was the weakest way out I have ever seen.

You have a good one as well. Please stop harming our environment with fertilizers tho. The fishermen in the golf of mexico will thank you.

EDIT: BTW.. i will not be quite as pissed as you think. One of our dealers just ordered 5 more kits today (no BS). Thanks for the attention on our products.

My car is running a single Walbro at 575whp on pump, and 630whp on race gas. Admittedly, there is a slighty pressure drop and higher RPM, and I wouldnt suggest doing this on a customer car. But a single Walbro can support a lot more power than you think!

And if the two of you do race....I would love to see it...can I come too? BTW, Charles car is making mid 500whp right now...so i am sure it would be a very good race.

Ziv, I didnt catch it earlier, but isnt your car making similar power levels?
