I would like to thank Mike and the guys at VRT for a great job on my 05 Roadster. I had my motor built, Pistons, rods, port and polish, cams, pulleys, also, installed my Greddy Twin Turbo Kit, along with guages, turbo timer, boost controller, and return fuel system. They did all this in a 3 Week turn around time. Once i get a 1,000 miles on it, it goes back to mike for a tune, and dyno, we are looking to get between 450-500WHP. Again, Mike and his crew did a great job, i love the car, and would recomend them to anyone looking to get a monster built. They arranged for my car to be picked up, i did not have to travel the 100 miles to take my car down there. THX again Mike, ill post pics up of the car and work soon, and pics of the dyno pull when it goes down!!!!

seriously, if you have to ask, you most likely don't have the dough. For all those reading this that question what a legitimate build like this will cost, figure in the ballpark of $15-25K depending on specifics. Asking about costs on a public forum is a bit insulting to the OP, IMHO
I will have to agree with the SS comments. You spent a lot of money on uneccessary parts to achieve no more than 500 hp Because of that, I don't understand holding back on the EMS. You could have attained 500+ with nothing more than a basic short block - no cams, pulleys, or port/polish needed.
Regardless; a 3 wk turnaround on a build like that is great. You will love the power, the car will be a blast

an ecu reflash is better than the split second ems.

No, I would take the SS tune over a reflash ANY DAY

I would go Fcon with a build like he has. My car gained 40-50 additional lbs of TQ at the same boost level with the Fcon vs the unichip

Mike, nice job on the buildup....have fun with it.
Thanks Man,
We have done two recent Greddy projects - both built motors and hope to make some nice power on both SAFELY.
Will get both of them on the Dynojet, or Dynodynamics and let them rip.
Which one do you think has a more reliable numbers Sharif?
Dynoshop in Santee has both.

Since that shop is used to testing 1000whp+ cars, I say...let it rip on the DynoJet in 5th gear. I am sure they will strap the car down correctly. Just make sure to warn them that you car is making nutty power, or they might do the short-cut strapping method.

Will keep you posted on the new G build this next week as well as Dan's Greddy set-up that he is currently breaking in.
