Default 1.2 bar, is it what the max 350z block takes

Hi guys hope every 1 is getting ready for the weekend I have a quick question, How many of u r boosting more than 1.2 and how many of u r sure that the block will handle?

I have it all... L19, ARP, race gasket, pistons, rods, ported and polished heads and intake, and so on....

On pump gas, depending on the turbo system and supporting mods....16-18psi is about all she will take. With race fuel....the limits are much much higher. It's only a matter of time before true 800whp certified 350Z's are roaming the streets.

sharif, what about water/alc injection? Could this also raise the boost potential?

Water/Meth injection isnt a magic bullet, but its does allow for slightly leaner AF ratios, and a degree or two more timing...max. Probably good for another safe 20-30whp or so.

1.2 bar really does not say anything....its dependant on the snail pressurizing the air

1.2 bar on a K03 (stock turbo on an A4) is ALOT different than 1.2 bar from a GT42r

what kit are you running and what are your mods? That will give us a better idea as to how much boost you likely can run safely

Very good point. I assumed the poster was refering to the current crop of kits on the market....when making my statements about max boost pressure.
