Jason, didn't get a chance to look at this thread/posts until I arrived in Costa Rica. If it turns out to be BOV, send me a PM and I will tell you where to find one at my house.

Will see you back in ABQ after the 30th. Subject to change if I find something worth making me stay in CR.

We checked it yesterday morning, turns out the blow off valve was venting all of the boost, tightened it up, seemed to do the trcik

thanks for all the feedback guys!

Actually the car is still bogging out or falling way flat between 2700 and 3300rpm. I ordered new plugs from Sherif at Forged Internals and will put them in when they arrive. Don't know what to try next.

I would go back to the cracked injectors and see if there isnt another one . And see if you got the connectors down all the way on them .

We replaced all the injectors and I have a feeling the plugs will fix it. It feels like it loses its tune through that rpm range and goes rich all of a sudden. Hey Booger I just ordered a UTEC. Whats yourr opinion on this as opposed to split second?

What would cause the injectors to crack?

I have a feeling that when we tune your car with the UTEC, lots of tune issues will go away...when we fixed the blow off valve, the car was a new animal...is it building boost in the 2700+ range (seems like even a supercharger would just begin to build boost here, so 1 psi slowly creeping up doesn't seem so strange to me)

does your a/f gauge read rich here? we can install the UTEC this week J, and go to some street tuning some night this week, then get it on the dyno soon thereafter

I was glad to see my SS go, the Utec gives so much more control.
I had a flat spot at 2800 to 3100 rpm, my tuner was able to work this out in about 30 mins, through the Utec. I drove the car he sat in passenger seat with lap top, changed mapping a few times. Now it pulls great through red line with no stumbles!
I think you be extremely happy with the Utec.

Just curious, does the vortech kit come with a bov? is it possible to upgrade to a different bov (greddy type RS or type S bov) ??

Yes, the kit comes with a Bov, It sure can be changed, I tried a Greddy type-S. I went back to the Vortech with a different spring, made a big difference how it would close, not so much shuttering, when I let off throttle.
