When I had my Red Rx-7 back in the late 90's I got hassled like that once where a f-in cop was tailing me on the highway for no reason. After 3 miles he pulled me over. He told me he pulled me over because my rear license plate cover was tinted. I argued with him that there is no law against that. He even walked all the way around my car and the idiot never noticed I didn't have a plate on the front. I even had illegal window tint too and he didn't notice. The dill weed actually made me remove the rear plate cover from my licence plate before letting me go.

I have gotten pulled a few times for it but I just tell them the bracket got smashed from a fender bender and body shop couldn;t find one to replace it. They buy it every time and just tell me to get a new one and they let me go.
