i think im going to try to get a dyno in this weekend. ill try to tell you guys what numbers i get. If i get lower, im going to cry.
And as for the mod, is the aps tallboy necessary? Because i am trying to save up for something that would be more effective in the power gains. Other than building an engine, what should i look for? Cams? EMS?

I don’t understand why everyone gets so hot and bothered about their dyno numbers. From my understanding the numbers depend on the dyno, the person doing the dyno session, the weather, and other variables that I don’t know of. I was also under the assumption that the dyno can be manipulated to say whatever you want them to say.
There are many guys on here that have had their cars dynoed and had amazing numbers only to have then dynoed again at significantly lower numbers.
If I am wrong about this someone please correct me.
Bottom line is… are you happy with your car?

I'm also kinda perplexed with amolaver's advice.
RNB419-You still haven't answered Zivman's question. Were you tuned "out of box" or custom? Who did the tuning? You can EASILY get safely tuned to max whp of 360-400whp with a nice tune. No need to upgrade cams, fuel system, etc. for your goals.

And just to add, I am well over RNB419's goals without cams, upgraded fuel system, UTEC, etc. Granted, I'm tuned to 12psi.
Bottom end is built up for reliability and safety. Fuel is not a problem whatsoever.

yah sugarspunz is right, its custom tuned by GTM. But ive got to say i am not that happy with the power i am getting. Maybe its because ive had it for some time. But i want to feel a bit more pull. When i first drove my car, i wasnt fully satisfied with the power i got but i thought i could live with it. Before getting my car back, i was in a s2000 that makes 407whp and 297tq and that was one amazing car. I am not looking for crazy performance like the s2k, but i was hoping something at least close. Not to sound unhumble, but should i ask Sam for a more aggressive tune?

the sad part is that he probably spent less money than i did. sigh i guess thats what makes a honda a honda. Maybe i will take it to Church Automotive, to get a retune, or go back to GTM? problem is GTM is like a 2hour drive and a 2.5 hour drive with traffic. sigh.

also let me ask you this... how many single turbo dyno charts have you seen from people in socal? i have seen 4 and one being my own. none have been over 400 hp or tq.
remember like i said before... everyone on these forums who are claiming to have over 400hp with an st kit live in an area where the gas has more octane or they have more mods than you.
why do you think there is such a huge difference in the numbers when the TT guys with built motors have a pump gas dyno and a race gas dyno. gas makes a huge difference.
take the time and go back to GT and talk with Sam.
