Default No heat and engine temp rises after Turbo install

Installed the APS single turbo.

Its been installed for about two months now and only had the engine temp rise twice before.

Now, there is no heat inside...just blows cold air. Also the engine temp rises quite high and then will shoot down to normal. There was one time i got heat inside but that was after driving the car for a while.

Thinking there may be air in the coolant or thermostat is sticking...

any thoughts? suggestions?

it's good idea to look for used block and start packing it with stronger internal so when ur stock engine gone, you have it ready.

You have air in your cooling system! Purge it. We did mine last night before we put it on the dyno.

Sounds right. Even with my turbo up front I've never seen my factory temp gauge rise in the least bit.

Agree with everyone else...air in the cooling system.

Keep in mind, if your coolant gauge even budges 1mm upward from the typical level....you have already reached a very dangerous 225F or greater. The OEM gauge is designed as a dummy gauge. When that thing starts to creep upward, you are well into the danger zone...so please be careful.
