ok so my buddy and i are getting the car all ready. He is taking off the AC line. and he says he THINKS we need a special tool to remove the AC line from the condenser. If you can tell me the name of this tool, or give pics Or if i don't need this tool and you can tell me what to do, please help. Thx.

It is a basic A/C fitting tool. You can get them at any auto parts store for a few bucks.

personally, I think you should go to an A/C shop; have them evacuate the lines. change the A/C line. then have them recharge your A/C.

You don't want to get the whole turbo kit installed and then realize that you have an A/C leak.

also, get extra heat wrap and double wrap both A/C lines!!!!

you dont remove any A/C lines?? there is one line that gets replaced before you install the kit but besides that you have enough room....the cost to get it done at a shop is about 150.00 worth it IMO.

umm.. i have replacement AC lines that reroute it that came with the kit. It's not that big of a deal to install this turbo, nor is it a big deal to recharge the kit. i was just wondering what type of tool i needed for this A/C. Thanks for all the extra concern though!

It looks like a collar that goes around the fitting that sits under the intake.

I am sorry forgot to tell you about that, you may be able to borrow the tool from a local mechanic or the local parts store. I know O'reily's lends out specialty tools.
