hi! im having a strange problem with my vortech aux pump after tuning the ssbox.when i switch the ignition off the pump keeps running.i didnt change the settings for aux pump.
settings are:
aux fuel pumpabortive start
over rpm & pressure
over rpm 500
over presuure-3.87.
plz help me out.

There is your problem . You have it set to run all the time

Set your ....over rpm....1500 to 3000 rpm

and your......over preasure..... .5 to 1.5 psi

Also , make sure it is set for.......over rpm {&} preasure......not......over rpm {or} preasure

 

but why does nt it stop when i switch off the ignition?

 

Got your PM . Not sure whats going on with your car . Did the aux. pump shut off before ? and isnt shutting off now ?

Thinking more on your settings....it was set to turn on the Aux. pump on , as soon as your vacuum dropped below 3.87 . As your rpm's will always be above 500rpm's at that vacuum level . Alot sooner than needed . The setting I gave you should work great for you .

they will not help , if the pump is still running after you shut the car off . Sounds like something happened to the wiring some where . Have it checked out
