Whats up everyone? As many may know, I have been trying to sell my car for several months and am not having any luck. So, I am thinking of parting out the car and then trying to sell it for a more reasonable and financeable price. I do have the Vortech which would be the first thing to try to get rid of. When and if I do part the car out, is there anything I would have to do to get the car to run right once I remove the Vortech? In other words, can I remove the Vortech and all supporting mods I have and the car then be able to run it without doing anything else? I guess what I am asking is if I reove this thing, will the stock ECU take over and run the car again with the stock maps, etc? If I do decide to part the car out, I will make several posts specific to the category of parts I am selling.
Thanks

Car will run just fine without the Vortech setup. The SS box is a piggyback and not a standalone unit so it only alters the signal to the ECU.
Parting out will always be better for you financially.

Thanks Brett and everyone else. I am hoping it wouldnt bee to hard to remove all of the Vortech related components. I just need to find a place that would allow me to use their lift.
I have no internal work done nor do I have any fuel system work done. I only have the Vortech plus basic bolt ons.

You don't have to have a lift to remove the setup. You should be familiar with the car though when removing the fuel setup cause you'll need to do a few minor things to return it to stock.

My car is EXTREMELY low to the ground so if I have to get underneath it for any reason, I will require a lift. My side skirts and bumpers are about 2" off ground.
my car is low like that also. i have long 2x4s, i pull the front tires on them... then i place another set of small 2x4 i put on the end of the long ones, and then i pull up those also. THEN i can get a jack under the car when I need to work on it on the ground.
