JET I dont need Stage 2 yet but I would be glad to support a Group buy if they will do it so you can get your car back on the road for a few less bucks.

Default group buy

I spoke to Ed at turbonetics, who said that they might consider doing a group buy once the GT-K is released for distribution around the first of the year.

It would still have to be a dealer that did the group buy. Turbonetics doesn't sell directly to the public.

Default yeah

yeah, you're right. I know a couple of dealers that should be willing to do it. I think what Ed was implying, is that they might be able to give an additional discount if a group buy takes place.

not to hyjack, Just really quick off the topic... What kind of oil do you guys recommend for breaking in a new rebuilt engine?

Dino oil at first. After 100-200 miles drian it and run more dino oil. At 1000 miles some go to full synthetic, Im at 2100 on my motor and still run Dino oil changing it every 1000 miles. At 3000-3500 I'll switch to synthetic.

When I spoke with Ed @ TN yesterday, he said they don't have a part number for a basic upgrade yet. They only have an upgrade that inlcudes injectors, unichip, fuel return....along with the turbo, piping, etc.

I hope they sell a basic upgrade that just has the turbo, piping, etc....no fuel or timing related items.

of course yet... the piping needs to be bigger =]
all that besides teh turbo upgrade... otherwise..even if the turbo pushes it well.. it woudln't be efficient...

but with a good turbo upgrade you shoudl be able to push the kit with its current config to teh 500 mark

Jet,

I am assuming that the Up-pipe will be changed 'cause I'm sure the GT-K doesn't use the same T3 mounting flange. Also, they might need to change the #1 downpipe do to the new discharge side of the GT-K.

These are just my assumptions.

Nothing is official until the product is released. That being said there are GT-K turbos that use a standard T3 flange...
