Default Aps St Help

I have a 2006 z and im gonna have an aps st kit soon, and i wanna do the install in my garage, and dont want to run into fitment problems and have to stop and reinstall everythign back to stock. so if anyone or any shop that has done an aps st on an 06z before, and know what needs to be done in order to make the kit fit in detail please let me know, so i can make the modifications that need to be done to the kit and my car before i start the install.

spend the extra money and have it installed by an authorized APS dealer/tuner. doing it yourself will only cost you more in the long run.

the install doesnt look that complicating so i dont see how spending 1.5g in install will save me money.

Have it installed by a APS authorized dealer, its the only way to go. Don't cheap out on the install because it will be the best 1,500 you ever spent. I learned the hard way, I had my buddy's shop do the install ( which they normally do STi's and EVO's ) took them 3 times as long. Then I had to get it towed to GT motorsports and I had to pay everything all over again to have it done right. Learn from my mistakes!

Before you make your final purchase make sure that the APS/ST is prepared for the '06 "Z"....

Spend some time on this site.....make some phone calls....I am not certain that the '06 version is ready yet.

well **** man if it is used then i would for sure have it installed by an aps dealer/tuner. take it from me. i purchased a used kit and had it installed by the best shop around and it took them forever to figuere out what my issue was.

but whatever dude. do what you like.

I'd contact Gus at Japtrix in west palm beach. It's going to be a haul down there and back but I think it will be worth it for you in the long run.

Oh yeah, and we've gotta run once your kit is installed.
