Stillen blower caps off because its to small for a 3.5l dohc engine. A m90 would be perfect.

Do you have any belt slip now?

Nope, but i'd like to try this pulley out and i figure i'll try the 3.1. According to the website, the pulley is lighter, spins faster and spools quicker so I figure it's worth a try. I may be building my engine over the winter, a very likely possibily, so I'd like to see how this pulley works out. A 2.9 with a T-trim may be in my future.

Has anyone been able to contact these guys? I tried all last week, and no one answered, and their VM box was full. Today I called and there is no message on the VM. Did they go out of business?

People used these pullies alot in the lightning world too, but most people switch back to the regular design after chewing belts faster(even gaterback belts).

i don't see how it could NOT eat up belts faster. I mean, if it was spinning and you put your fingers over the grooves, it'd hurt
The normal pulleys wouldn't. Probably does grip better though

I will let you guys know.... I drive ALOT and have put 15K miles on my Vortech in just a bit over 5 months so if anyone could guage belt wear in a relatively short period of time, I can... I have the 2.8 sitting right here in front of me but I am still on stock injectors and fuel pump... I will need to upgrade that before I put this on... I am thinking of ordering a 3.0 pulley as well to try that while I am waiting to upgrade my fuel system...

Would you think that the stock fuel system could handle a 3.0 pulley? My AFR's are good w/ the 3.12...

Can you run bigger injectors without upgrading the fuel pump / system?

Thanks! I want to try this belt out.... And yes, I will keep a spare belt in my car at all times in case I have to do a quick roadside repair...

Hmm...could you post the links to where people have their belts chewn through? I am going to be upgrading to the 3.12 soon, but wondering if I should go with this pulley? Although, I haven't really had any slipping issues with the stock pulley and gatorback belt. Tightening the belt once in a while fixes any slipping I have had.

Any updates?

Anyone know if a 3.00 pulley would be safe on the stock block?

Finally got through and ordered the 3.1. Supposed to be here this weekend and I'll call my tuner to see if he has time next to install and tune next week. Updates as things happen.

If it chews the belts, I'll try the belt rerouting trick next.

If you take your 3.12 pulley along with the smaller one to a machine shop and have them mill the smaller one to the larger ones spec's , it will work . Thats what I did with my 2.87 and it works fine now . Not running it . But it did when I had it on .

This is a Reichaderacing 2.80" there is not even enough material to mill anything off without making it become paper thin or fall apart!
I had my Vortech 2.87" machined down, works fine!
Sucks to spend 150.00 for a part that WON"T fit with or without modification!!!
