I run 18x9.5 +22 TE37's in the front of my car with 265/35's and have 0 issues (18x10.5+22 up front would be a TIGHT squeeze). I also have 18x10.5 +22 in the back with 295/35's. 295's I had to roll the fenders about halfway in. I'm sure I could fit 315's with a little more fender modification if I wanted to.

Honestly, just dont see the need for a 10.5 inch front wheel. 9.5 gives you great tire choices, and I have never had a problem with understeer, that would necessitate a wider front wheel tire package. We need as much traction as possible win the rear, but the front seems pretty dialed in for most people. At least thats been our experience.

But hurry up with that 11.5 inch rear?

Why would you need a 10.5" wheel to run a 265 tire? 275 already looks stretched on a 10.5" rim, it'd only look more so with a 265.

This is what a 275 looks like on a 10.5" rim. Left is the PS2, right is the GS-D3.

If the offset is right, we are down.

Have been talking to Mackin about the same concept, yet it will be interesting to see if a larger than 315 will work on the rear.

Note
Steve Mitchell from M Works is running 10.5 on the front and he seems to be happy. This was his set-up on his Red Z for the USCC.

Regardless, Alot of rim and tire all around, yet I would be happy with a 9.5 front running a 285 and a 11/5 ear running a 325 if it will fit.

what 325 tire specifically is everyone interested in? What brand etc? When I punch in 325/30/18 or 325/35/18 I get absolutely nothing

the nitto NT01 is the closest thing to 325/30/18 since it's more like a 323.

Whats the point of such a large rim? You can run 315 on a 10.5'' rim pretty easily on the right offsets.

less buldge I suppose
might be a slightly better contact patch

otherwise the wheel itself would be a bit heavier

The TE37 is lightweight, but not as lightweight as my SSR GT2's. It looks like a 10.5 and 11.5 TE37 would be roughly 10 lbs heavier total overall than my 9 and 10.5 SSR GT2's
