2 Question on APS ST
I have a stockblock APS ST making 422whp right now. Wondering if I get cams, heads, etc (longblock) fuel system, utec. What is the max whp Ill be able to put down . Not what the turbo maxes at , what the entire setup will reach on the dyno. & does anyone have proof of there claims?
Second- from 40mph-100mph I get pulled by C6 Vettes (400hp) I know there lighter, but how can I make that not happen, really annoys me. What upgrade or tune do I need?
Thanks.

422whp is huge power for this kit. If you want bigger numbers than that you will probaly need to ditch the ST. You can spend a ton more money on this single turbo and maybe only achieve another 25 whp. Not worth it IMHO.
Although their are a few people shooting for 500whp on this kit but I personally dont think it can be done with these turbo's.
If you really have 422whp, YOU should be pulling a c6, unless you are reffering to a ZO6. But thats a whole different story.

I think that right there is the problem, I am only make 370 ft/lbs tq. Where as you make 400ft/lbs. How can I get my torque up? Is that the problem? American Muscle & its torque?
Also can I shoehorn say a GT40 or 42 in there?

I had monster tq numbers with my st. My last dyno was 450 hp and 520 ft lbs of tq. Was at around 15 or 16 psi i believe ill have to find the dyno. You have a dyno sheet? APS st tend to fall off with even a little backpressure. NM seen you have a aps st exhaust. Still like to see a sheet.

geeez. that is some CRAZY tq. When I get my "stage II" done, I'm going to have Tuan de-tune my tq so I don't go over 500 ft/lbs.

Im running 8.5 psi. My dyno sheet definately falls off up top. For some reason at like 5500-6000rpms I hit my max hp. I really need to get my torque up What could my problem be? Also I have an APS 3" True Dual Exhaust with a custom fabricated 1 to 2 y-pipe
a "form"?
it is a gt3582 cartridge. if you go with another housing, which i was looking into doing, you should get a 4bolt external housing, easy to find, but you would have to get a new downpipe fabricated, and external wastegate setup made as well.

ok.. will the mrev 2 & the 5/16th spacer make a gain difference in hp? Do I need cams? (No turbo revup cams yet i dont think) Do I need a different tune, am I losing pressure somehow? My dyno sheet does kinda stop makin power at 5500rpms-6000rpms ?
You stop making power at higher rpms because the housing is to small. Smaller housing spool earlier, bigger ones spool later for more top end power. Call a place like majestic turbo. They can modify your stock turbo.

the loss of power up top comes from too much backpressure in the downpipe, combined with the internal wastegate in the same spot, causes turbulence not allowing the wastegate to shut.
right now im making 380hp/410tq, thats with the JIC exhaust. exhaust restriction will cause the tq numbers to be a little higher.
rocks, im not exactly sure of the exhaust side, some guys that have looked at it claim its large, probably a 1.06, but then when i measured it i came up with .82, but the garrett techs said it was large as well. so who knows. but one thing i do know is that the downpipe design is hurting it, along with the backpressure. the downpipe is 3.5, but when it comes off the turbo, its more of an oval, and has a sharp angle to it, causing the gases to fight each other.
