FYI: My car's registration, license and inspection are all out of date too.. BUT It is insured though...

Just remember this when you are doing those 'High Speed' street tunes.
I think I renewed the tags, but definitely no recent inspection.
I am also pretty sure there are no records in the car either

Where Sherv is from, if this happened they'll

lock you up,
tow your car,
send you to jail,
and throw away the key.

The police around here aren't very nice.

BTW, awesome numbers. Great looking car too.

I think that depends on the car/driver/cop combination. I got pulled over on Dulles Toll Road in the Z (right after getting the built engine put in) I had NOTHING in the car.

He pulled me over for expired Tags, then noticed my Inspection & County Stickers were also expired. I went looking for my registration and proof of Insurance, and had none of that stuff. So he could have written me up for:

1. No Proof of Registration
2. No Proof of Insurance
3. Expired Inspection
4. Expired Tags
5. No Front License Plate
6. No County Sticker
7. I had a couple of drinks just prior to this... so I don't even want to think what that could have led to ..

Basically after explaining the situation with the car, he let me go with a warning and told me I had better get all of this stuff sorted out before I drive the car on the road again.

I got lucky no doubt... Moral of the story… How you act and address the officer contribute a lot to his decisions.

Just pay for all of his expenses (hotel, flight, meals, etc) and the materials and labor for working on the car and you should be good to go...

Oh wait, that would be WAAAAAYYYYY expensive. How about you just ship the car to the states? It's probably cheaper that what you're paying now from the sound of things.

EDIT: Congrats to the OP on your new found power!

Something I don't get with high WHP numbers!!!Your putting down over 500whp but can't keep the tires from spinning in 1st-2nd-or3rd.I'm not saying that your cars not a monster but whats the purpose of big numbers if your not putting the power to the ground without spinning.just my .2 cents

Yeah but theres plenty of power with 400-450whp and NO tire spin.Spinning your tires is just a big waste of time and $$$ in my opinion.

Do you put down all the power on the street or track with your set-up? Please feel free to post 60ft's and 1/4 times to "prove" how well you do what you speak of here...

ill dissagree with you just cause you dont have that power and you have an AT

but seriously..yah tracktion can be an issue but its jsut a matter of learning how to launch with that power and os on....
on the track a set of slicks wouldn't hurt either

Settle down boys,I'm not trying to hate on this guys numbers just trying to understand the purpose of BIG whp #'s and no traction.I have street raced many times with my AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION and said bye bye to many MT's while there putting on a great tire spin show.I agree slicks definitely help on the track.
Berto..my cars not quite ready for the track yet but soon.
And ask member NA&CH how fast my car is.He's been for a ride
