Default turbo kid piecing?

hey guys, i tried searching to answer my question and i couldnt find anything. if someone knows of a link though, please post it.

Well i was wondering if any company sold individual pieces for a single turbo kit? like the oil and water lines, exhaust pieces, down pipe, turbo with the correct housing setup, miscellaneous parts, gaskets, fittings, etc..., i already have a wastegate, bov, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, and can weld my own intercooler pipes. and i am going to buy either a utec or emanage and oil pan spacer with oil drain line. so basically i just need the rest of it. thanks in advance. and please to not tell me to search for it, either let me know where to get it, point in the right direction of the information, or let me know that theres no such thing.

Not that I know of. All of the companies with single turbo setups only sell full kits. The piping for an ST on this car is a nightmare in itself so it would be a pain to work out, but you may be able to find a local shop that will do it.

In the end it would be cheaper to sell that stuff and buy a kit.

There are a few places that sell kits, my advice would be get the TN tuner kit and just use your parts if they are better and sell the stock... if the stock TN parts are better then sell your parts.

for example if I had a Tial 38mm Wastegate I would use it over the evolution.

yea, thats what it looks like im going to end up doing, and yes i have a tial 38mm which i will be using, which is good because it is the same flange if im not mistaken. now if i want to use my HKS bov ill have to cut the TN bov flange off and weld an HKS one on, i may just keep the TN one so i dont have to go through the trouble, i havent heard much about it though.

Is there a site or a link to a thread on here that lists the differences between the tuner and the complete TN kid? the TN website is no help, it doesnt even say anything about a tuner kit

id use the HKS BOV it sounds very good and its not to hard to modify the TN setup, however the TN raptor BOV looks pretty damn cool and is very clean finish.

is that for a twin or single setup julian? u said manifolds so it makes me think twin. i think a twin setup would be a waste for me because i have no plans of ever building the motor.

So you've switched out your turbo kit after all? What are you running now, the SFR TT?

How did I miss that? Not that I am interested, but I'd like to know if he's getting the SFR or the APS extreme?

I haven't noticed what he's getting. Are you getting a GTO? I read the LS1 forums, and I thought I saw you looking into the APS kit for the GTO.

Yep, this spring I will be looking for a brand new 06 or a low mile 05 with an A4 in black, silver or gray, my Z will be traded in for a new daily driver within a couple of month as soon as the lease on my MDX is over .

But the only reason why I am going to do that is that it will be much cheaper to reach my power goals with an LS2, plus the 4L65E is stronger then z's 5AT, and the LS2 don't break after 400whp.
I am still a Z fan and will love to see how it evolves through the aftermarket, except without paying for it myself.
